Important Income-Tax Deadlines in November: There are some key deadlines related to income tax coming up this month for both individual and corporate taxpayers. If you fail to pay taxes on time, it might lead to penalties as well as many problems. Being aware of income tax deadlines can help you plan your tax and take advantage of deductions, exemptions and other benefits.

Income Tax Calendar for November 2024 as per Income Tax Department:

14 November 2024

Due date for issue of TDS certificate for tax deducted under sections 194-IA, 194-IB, 194M, and 194S for September 2024.

15 November 2024

-Quarterly TDS certificate (in respect of tax deducted for payments other than salary) for the quarter ending 30 September 2024.

-Due date for submission of Form 24G by Government offices where TDS/TCS has been paid without submission of challan for October 2024.

-Due date for submission of statement in Form 3BB by stock exchanges in respect of revised client codes in October 2024.

November 30, 2024

-Due date for furnishing challan-cum-statement in respect of tax deducted under sections 194-IA, 194-IB, 194M, and 194S in October 2024.

-Return of Income for assessment year 2024-25, if required to furnish report under section 92E relating to international or specified domestic transaction.

-Due date for furnishing report in Form No. 3CEAA by a constituent NTT of an international group for accounting year 2023-24.

-(Form No. 64) Statement of income distribution by a venture capital company or venture capital fund in respect of income distributed during the previous financial year (2023-24).

-Statement to be furnished by Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) to the Principal CIT or CIT in Form No. 64D in respect of income distributed to unit holders during the financial year 2023-24.

-Due date for invoking safe harbour rules for international transactions by furnishing Form 3CEFA.

-Due date for invoking safe harbour rules for specific domestic transactions by furnishing Form 3CEFA.

Last date for filing details of income distributed by business trust to unit holders during the financial year 2023-24. This statement is required to be filed electronically in Form No. 64A to the Principal CIT or CIT.

If the company is eligible for weightage deduction under section 35(2AB), it is required to furnish a copy of the audited accounts to the Secretary (if the company has any international or specified domestic transaction).

If the income tax return is to be submitted on November 30, 2024, then the statement has to be given to the Scientific Research Association, University, College or other association or Specific Research Company as per Rules 5D, 5E and 5F.

If the taxpayer is required to submit the income tax return on November 30, 2024, then the eligible investment fund has to submit the report of the arms length price of the ramifications paid to the fund manager through e-filing through Form No. 3CEJ.
